Photography was not my intention when I entered college. In fact, it was neither my major or my minor. The only art class I found time to take was an Intro to Drawing course my sophomore year. My professional photography career began during the summer after my first year in college. I found a part time job at a well known photo studio and haven’t been the same since. Back then, the only thing I had to photograph with were disposable cameras and a point-and-shoot Olympus. In the summer of 2008, I purchased a Nikon d60 and began pursuing photography on a more serious basis. This blog outlines the self-teaching process I’ve undertaken since.
When not behind the lens, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing Ultimate. March to October is spent following the New York Mets and being outdoors as much as possible. I looks forward to sharing my photos and story with you. Thanks for “listening”.
