Pictured is Carlos Santana, catcher of the Cleveland Indians. While blocking the plate on this play, Ryan Kalish, outfielder for the Red Sox, decided to slide into Santana attempting to knock the ball from the catcher’s clutches. Saldy, the only thing that he succeeded in doing was bending poor Santana’s leg backwards at the knee, ending his rookie season.
